
It can be thought that free traffic sources are as simple as word of mouth advertising. You don’t pay someone to advertise by mouth, if you go to a movie and it’s the best movie that you have ever seen and you go and tell your best friend that it was so, they will more than likely go see this movie.
The actor however is not going to pay you for bringing them to you… this is the advantage to them of word of mouth.
A vast majority of companies use word of mouth as their primary source of new clientele. A car for instance is almost always a great way to give people interest in your company. If the car needed something that you were able to supply and someone’s friend got in the car and asks “Hey where did you get that?” Then you just gave yourself word of mouth clients, because that person is likely to come into your store and pick up something.
Word of mouth is all about your reputation. Keep in mind also that the inverse in this situation is also true, if you have a bad relationship with a customer you may lose potential clients because of what they tell their friends. Word of mouth is a dangers and at the same time helpful utensil that should be utilized by every small or large company.
